Are you interested in the opportunity to work with a broad family of major Black organisations such as Blaksox, Society of Black Lawyers, Operation Black Vote and BAME Lawyers for justice? And in so doing further your experience, build your network of professionals, strengthen your leadership skills, and implement new ideas within the Black community!

Do you know how to engage people through social media? Or possess graphic/design skills, or maybe you’re interested in event planning/management. Or perhaps TV production is your thing.

Then here’s an opportunity for you! Black Impact is looking for volunteers to take up associate roles within the organisation to support its work through the following roles:

  1. Communications, social media & campaigns associate
  2. Digital associate
  3. Events and logistics associate
  4. Production associate
  5. Research, engagement and partnership associate
  6. Fundraising associate

Communications, social media & campaigns associate:

  • Creates content for social media and drives social media engagement.
  • Leads on social media campaign delivery.

Digital associate

  • Creates graphic and digital designs.
  • Oversees and manages website.

Events and logistics associate 

  • Organises all events from conception to completion.
  • Manages all aspects of events.

Production associate

  • Responsible for all aspects of Young And Black In Britain (YABIB) pre and post-production.
  • Monitors and manages the YouTube channel.

Research, engagement and partnership associate

  • Seeks out partnership opportunities for Black Impact.
  • Makes relevant contacts/connections with organisations essential to achieving organisational goals and monitors landscape and takes steps to keep organisation relevant and competitive.

Fundraising associate

  • Seeks out and follows up funding opportunities.
  • Creates fundraising initiatives.
